Top Traveler Vacation Patterns of 2024
This past summer, Americans took an average of 2.9 vacations, with Millennials traveling the most at 3.4 trips annually. Beaches were the top destination, favored by 62% of travelers, followed by cultural and historical locations at 44%. Hotels are the preferred accommodation for 78%, though 44% opt for vacation rentals, and 41% enjoy staying with family or friends.
